BIOGRAPHY

Sergio Veros (real name Sergio Mechelk) is a young newcomer DJ from Klosterneuburg (in the region of Vienna). It all started with a small show in his living room which he put on for his grandparents, but over time music became increasingly important to him, and eventually he asked for his first DJ console.

After a few months he decided to take part in Rock the Island. At 14 years of age, he was the youngest participant. The jury was enthusiastic about his work and he came 2nd. He then played at Europe's biggest open air festival for the first time: at the Danube Island Festival 2013 (Energy Stage). He then played time and again in Vienna. He made his way to the Czech Republic, where he played at the Maximal Club. After a few months there, he decided to take part in the Rock the Island Contest 2014. He played at the Danube Island Festival again in 2014.

He then got his first major piece of financial support, from the Raiffeisen Bank Klosterneuburg. He gained a contract with the bank. He then played in major clubs such as the Bollwerk Graz as well as festivals such as the Vienna Street Parade. After regular appearances at clubs in Austria, he made the next big step: Sergio Veros was on his way to Germany. The 15-year-old competed in the German DJ Contest, the largest of its kind in Germany. This was his greatest challenge to date. After weeks of preparation and a live set at Dresden's Musikpark, Sergio Veros managed to win that contest. He was named best newcomer in Germany in 2014. It was the biggest success in his DJ career to date. Now Sergio Veros frequently plays at top clubs in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Sergio Veros is confident that his career will continue and that he will never give up his dream.
