Rene Rodrigezz, alias Rene Seidl, was born in Linz, Austria, in 1986. He began his music career at the tender age of 8 as a member of the St. Florian Boys‘ Choir (St. Florianer Sängerknaben). It was just the start of one of the most incredible success stories in music.

DJ, nerd and producer

Rene‘s boundless energy and talent for performance eventually landed him a spot as resident DJ at the Empire St. Martin, one of Austria‘s top clubs. His unique shows were always a hit and his energy would captivate the crowds from the very first second.

Rene Rodrigezz is a one-man-show, a freak and an artist. His music is 100% his own. From concept to mastering, the „Rodrigezz Sound“ is one hundred percent original. Which involves lengthy sessions in the studio until every last detail has been fine-tuned to perfection.

It‘s an approach that has enabled him to gain invaluable experience in this area. So his project was not something that happened overnight; it grew steadily with each new day and each new single, eventually attracting international attention. It has led to an impressive string of hits.

International success

Rodrigezz has so far recorded three studio albums (Balloon Records, Sony Music, Kontor Records) , all of them charted. „Shake 3x“ is Rene Rodrigezz‘s most successful collaboration with DJ Antoine & MC Yankoo. It became an international club hit and achieved gold status on DJ Antoine‘s album, also making #1 in Korea.

His numerous singles have enjoyed radio air time world-wide and have been licensed to leading dance labels such as Sony, Ultra, Armada, Kontor, +MAS, Roster, D-Noy, Megaliner, and many more.

He launched his own label, „Big Smile Records“, at the start of 2014. This will provide a new platform from which to release his own songs, while also giving talented producers on the global scene an opportunity to get their tracks heard.

The third album „We Are“ was released in December 2015, reached #25 in the austrian sales charts and was already licensed to several countries like South Korea, Brazil, Italy, Russia, Hungary, Romania, Israel, Portugal, Australia and much more.

The first single from the new album „We Are We Are“ jumped directly to a lot of DJ Playlists and climbes high in the dance charts!
